Chinese songstress Faye Wong will be completing a song that was left unfinished by the late Taiwanese singer, Teresa Teng.

As reported on ECNS News, the singer will be recording the song at a studio today, 8 May, which also marks the 20th anniversary of Teng’s death.

The song, titled ” Qing Ping Diao” (closely translated as “Pure and Peaceful Tune”), which was adapted from a famous poetry written by Chinese poet Li Bai, was partly sung by Teng before her death in 1995 from severe respiratory attack.
A music video will also be created as an accompaniment to the song when it is released later on.
Faye revealed that she is willing to donate all the revenues from the song to charity associations.
