Time for some bebop and doo-wop because another Jazz Fest is ready to take over KL – World Youth Jazz Festival 2015 (WYJF 2015) will soon take place in early May!
Founded by a Malaysian Jazz personality, the fourth edition of WYJF is going to the streets for the first time ever at Jalan Mesui, Kuala Lumpur from 1 to 3 May 2015, 8.30pm to 12.30am.
In collaboration with Malaysian Minister of Youth and Sports and Jazz Community Malaysia (JAZZCOMM), the festival’s objective is to allow youths to showcase their jazz talents as well as integrate, collaborate, interact and network among themselves.
WYJF also aims to establish jazz musicians from all over the world not only among jazz lovers but also those who admire other genres of music.
With this year’s theme “Happy Happy @ Jalan Mesui”, jazz lovers are encouraged to snap their fingers and move their feet to the happy jazzy beat. So remember to bring your dancing shoes!
