Calling all otakus in Malaysia – get ready to experience Japanese pop culture and festival at the inaugural Penang Anime Matsuri – Summer Party 2015 (PAM2015)!
From the creator of Anime Festival Asia, PAM2015 is a family-friendly Japanese culture festival which mainly focuses on animes, mangas, games, cosplays, as well as the first ever outdoor anisong party!
The exciting two-day summer festival will be held at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of George Town on the 23 and 24 May 2015.
Look out for loads of fun-filled activities at the event, which will take place at these two locations:

• Cosplay Competition (M’sia Preliminary 2015)
Esplanade Park (5pm – 11pm)

• Street Food Booths
• Traditional Japanese Games
• Night Doujin Market
There will be some special guests coming all the way from Japan, Taiwan, China and also some from our very own country.
The guests include “Guilty Crown” singer Mika Kobayashi, “Ano Natsu De Matteru” singer-songwriter Nagi Yanagi, Japanese chibi illustrator Ikkyuu-sensei, Japanese DJ Hachioji P, Taiwanese cosplayer celebrity Shimo and Mon, cosplayer duo from China Hana & Baozi, as well as famous Malaysian cosplayers Angie and Ying Tze.
The Exhibition + Stage Access costs RM10 per day, and will only be available during the event day from 10am onwards at Dewan Sri Pinang’s main entrance ticketing booth.
