False alarm! Taboo, Sistar and Fuying & Sam will be performing at the upcoming royal concert for the Sultan of Johor’s grand coronation ceremony.
Previously, several news portals have reported that Black Eyed Peas’ member Taboo, South Korean lady group Sistar and Malaysian duo Fuying & Sam were dropped out of the performance lineup for the free 4-day concert in Danga Bay, Johor from 26 to 29 March 2015.
However, according to a press release issued by Mint Mediaworks on behalf of Iskandar Waterfront, it is confirmed that Taboo, Sistar and Fuying & Sam will be part of the activities.
However, instead of the Black Eyed Peas group, only Taboo will be coming to Malaysia for the royal concert.
Taboo and Sistar will be joined by other international artistes such as the famous Australian DJ, singer and dancer Havana Brown, another South Korean idol group T-ara and Indonesian pop queen Rossa.

“The concerts are absolutely free….it is our way of saying “Thank You” to the people for their support,” said spokesman Gary Lee Seaton from Iskandar Waterfront Holdings Sdn Bhd (IWH).
