FindIt is said to be Malaysia’s first and only integrated platform that combines local deals, businesses and classifieds in one single app.
The app which is available on both iOS and Android devices as well as on its own website, has more than 3 million business listings across 700 categories covering over 450 cities, Hype.my reports.
FindIt can detect the approximate location of the user and if the user decides to search on something, the app will conveniently show the nearby business listings and deals for the user.
Some of the popular categories on the app include restaurants, spa, taxi services, travel, matrimony, jobs, education, mobile, gadgets and etc.
The user can also post up an advertisement or list a business on the platform with a simple three step procedure:-
- Provide contact details
- Provide product information
- Upload pictures of the product
The posting will be administered and monitored by FindIt.
Earlier this week, there have been some sightings of people in green alien costumes who have been roaming around Klang Valley in search of a certain someone by the name of Walter Woo.
This initiative was to promote the service through its “Where in the world is Walter Woo?” contest, which will start on 21 March 2015.
The rule of the contest is simple; users will have to look for the fictional Water Woo by downloading the FindIt app and search for clues on Walter Woo’s location via FindIt’s Facebook page. Then, users can upload the photo of the location of Walter Woo using the ‘photo contest’ function of the app.
FindIt will be giving away 9 units of iPhone 6 128GB to the winners of the contest located at Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru and Penang.
