Now that he has had a taste of directing his own film, Simon Yam revealed that he is currently prepping up for his sophomore project.

As reported on Oriental Daily News, the Hong Kong star, who made his directorial debut as part of the Hong Kong two-part portmanteau horror film “Tales from the Dark: Part 1” in 2013, stated that his new project still centres on the subject of horror, but will also be a police movie at the same time.

“It will be a supernatural police story,” said Simon, who plans to begin filming at the end of the year. “Everything is still in its initial stages though.”
As to his choice of cast members, Simon said that he is interested in casting his “Sara” co-star Charlene Choi and her beau, William Chan.
“I would like to see them perform together. I really care about those two,” he said.
