Tired of WhatsApp-ing through your phones? Good news, cause the instant messaging App for smartphones is now available on your desktop too!
Yesterday, the giant mobile messaging App introduced a desktop client service called WhatsApp Web, which is an extension of its smartphone App.
Similar to the desktop version of LINE App, WhatsApp Web mirrors the conversation and chat messages from your smartphones, so the messages you type on desktop will also appear on your phones.
To log in to WhatsApp Web, users need to open up the WhatsApp Web browser in Google Chrome ONLY (apparently, the service is only Chrome-friendly) and then scan the QR code of their WhatsApp smartphone App.
Also, users must have the latest version of WhatsApp installed on their phones and make sure that their phones are connected to the Internet.
Though there is one downer, WhatsApp Web is unavailable for iOS users.
However, according to Forbes, WhatsApp plans to launch the service for iOS users soon.
