Hong Kong star Louis Koo has been selected as the ambassador of the 39th Hong Kong International Film Festival.

According to Oriental Daily News, this is the second time for the actor to be chosen, who served as an ambassador for the festival last year as well.

Louis, who has been busy filming and producing movies for the past few years, admitted that he is honoured to be elected ambassador yet again.
“As an ambassador, I have the opportunity to do something to promote the Hong Kong film industry,” he said.
In regard to the event itself, Louis revealed that this time around, the festival organiser will bring over 280 films from around the world.
“I hope that everybody will be able to participate in this annual event,” he said.
