Federal Territories Minister, Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor hopes that the programme will “attract more participants and create greater awareness on reducing carbon emissions,” he was quoted as saying in The Star.
On every first and third Sunday of each month, some parts of KL city will be closed off and it will be off-limits to all forms of motor vehicles except for cyclists, pedestrians and skateboarders.
According to Poskod, the designated 6km route which starts at Dataran DBKL known as, The Green Loop, will be a car-free route that is off-limits to all forms of motor vehicles from 7:00am to 9:00am.
