Former actress Josephine Siao is indeed interested in making an acting comeback, but admitted that her health prohibits her to do so.

According to Mingpao News, the “Summer Snow” actress, who was recently spotted attending a University Fellowship Presentation Ceremony, stated, “The Greater China have so many good movies nowadays, that it piqued my interest. But unfortunately, I am not in good health.”

The 67-year-old actress, who is now known for her work against child abuse, retired from showbiz in 1997 partly due to her hearing problem.
“Better to be healthy first,” she said with a smile.
Josephine admitted that she had had movie directors approaching her with film projects before, even promising to accommodate her needs.
“But I don’t think that’s right. A film production should not accommodate one person. Everybody should work together. It makes me uncomfortable to have people trying to please me,” she said.
While speaking about her End Child Sexual Abuse Foundation, which she founded in 1999, Josephine revealed that a lot of artistes, including A-Mei, Sandy Lam, Hacken Lee, and Joyce Cheng, have been helping her in raising funds and awareness.
