Ten years after his last appearance at the event, Hong Kong superstar Andy Lau will be performing again at the upcoming CCTV Spring Festival Gala.

As reported on Mingpao News, the Cantopop Heavenly King has been listed as one of the performers at the star-studded show, aside from Karen Mok, Taiwanese singer David Tao, and Chinese actors Tong Dawei and Zhang Fengyi.

The actor has also confirmed his participation at the show, which will be aired on 18 February, although the nature of the performance cannot be disclosed for the time being.
The Spring Festival Gala is an annual Chinese New Year broadcast produced by China Central Television since 1983.
Though last year’s gala was helmed by movie director Zhang Yimou, this year TV producer Ha Wen will return to the director’s seat for the third time.
