After the success of this year’s Asian edition of the world’s largest short film festival in Penang, the second edition of TropFest Southeast Asia is set to return to the same place on 1 February 2015 with new partnerships including Yayasan Sime Darby, Malaysia Major Events, and the Motion Picture Association (MPA).

“Stories are at the very heart of the Tropfest ethos…It doesn’t matter what your age, budget, nationality, profession are — Tropfest SEA is a platform for every kind of story. Everybody has a story to tell, and with the support of these partnerships, we hope that each story will touch hearts across the region,” said Tropfest SEA Managing Director, Joe Sidek at a recent press conference in Kuala Lumpur, New Straits Times reports.
