It has been almost three years since Russell Peters first visited Malaysia during his “Notorious World Tour 2012”. Now, the Canadian comedian is set to humour fellow Malaysians once again with his “The Almost Famous World Tour” in April next year!
Based on a Press Release by event organiser LOL Events Sdn Bhd, Peters comedy performance will be held at Stadium Melawati, Shah Alam, on 10 April 2015.
His first performance in Malaysia back in 2012 was a huge success with 16,000 tickets sold out in two hours for his two shows!
The 44-year-old stand-up comedian is known for his observational comedy where he uses racial, ethnic, class and cultural stereotypes to humour the audience.
“I like to interact with the front rows,” said Peters as quoted in the Press Release.
“I use the interaction to take me from bit to bit. Some guys go on-stage with script and don’t deviate from it. That’s not my style. I have my set and know what I want to cover; I just use the audience to move me in certain directions. It’s very collaborative and each show is unique,” he added.
Ticketing details will be updated soon, check out LOL Events’ Facebook page
