China’s charity-based programme, “Dream Star Partner”, will be returning with a second season, hosted by Sa Beining and Bowie Tsang.

According to Sina Entertainment News, the show, which made its debut in October last year, received great support from the public for its positive message and charitable objective, prompting the producers to release its second season.

While the first season involved 16 singers that were divided into eight groups to compete and win the money for the charity of their choice, this time around, the format will be changed.
According to the producers, they will be applying the “7 plus X” format; whereby seven celebrities will lead his or her team to compete with the others.
Each week, the star who gets the most likes from the 360 judges will become the winner of the week and has the right to light up the photo wall of disabled children.
It was revealed that among the new celebrities that will be joining the second season are Anson Hu, William Chan, former EXO member Lu Han, and Malaysian singer Shila Amzah.
The show will be aired beginning 21 December.
