According to a report on HK Top Ten News, the actor recently revealed that he has formed a film company, Dream Moon, in Malaysia.
Since he may not be welcomed in mainland China anytime soon, Hong Kong actor Chapman To has now shifted his focus onto dominating Southeast Asia.
The actor-producer disclosed the news on his official Facebook, saying, “I have planned [to form a company] in Malaysia for quite a while. And today, I am making it official that my film company in Malaysia, Dream Moon, has been established.”
Chapman added that the newly formed company is the first step for him and partner, Director Cheng Kin Kwok, to fulfil their great Southeast Asian film dream.
When asked if there will be any collaboration with Andy Lau, who also has a film company in Malaysia, Chapman replied, “I didn’t know he has one until the Malaysian media told me.”
However, Chapman added that he would not dare to suggest such collaboration with the film giant, as his new studio is very small.
