Founded in 2010, the community mall that can be found at Petaling Jaya, SSTwo Mall will be closing down officially due to its under performance.
The news was reported by Malaysia Property News via property blogger, Patrick Chay on its Facebook page.
According to the source, the four-year-old mall had ordered some of its tenants to vacate within the next one to two months due to the possibility that a residential block will be added in one of the sections as part of its intended revamp of the shopping area.
The mall with the brand promise, “It’s almost home” has constantly suffered complains by customers ever since its opening, but the problem that gets most shoppers irked is the inconvenient parking arrangement.
Despite its fabulous-looking outer appearance, there is nothing remarkable in the mall because most of its lots are still empty and unoccupied.
SSTwo Mall was developed by Asian Retail Mall Fund II and is managed by Asia Malls in Malaysia. It is located at Jalan SS2/72, Petaling Jaya with some of its tenants being; Chatime, Old Town White Coffee, Times the Bookstore, Celebrity Fitness and more.
