As reported on Sina’s Daily News, previously it was reported that the actor will be taking over Kai Ko’s role in the hit mainland movie, after the latter was banned by China’s State Administration of Radio, Film, and Television (SARFT) due to his drug case.
Taiwanese actor Peter Ho has recently dismissed rumours saying that he will be replacing Kai Ko in the fourth instalment of Guo Jingming’s “Tiny Times” franchise.
The ban has led to producers of his movies, including “Tiny Times 4”, “Monster’s Hunt” and “My Rival is Superman” to re-assess the situation – seeing that movies starring Ko will not receive any support and promotion from the mainland media.
A new rumour had since emerged, saying that Jing Boran will be replacing Ko in “Monster’s Hunt”, while Peter Ho will be playing Ko’s role in “Tiny Times 3”.
However, when asked to confirm the rumours, Peter’s manager denied receiving any offer from the production. “Peter is currently filming in Hengdian. I don’t know where the rumours came from.”
Meanwhile, a representative from “Monster’s Hunt” production has declined to respond on the rumours about Jing Boran’s participation.
