Hong Kong singer Jacky Cheung has been listed as one of the performers at the 51st Golden Horse Awards.

According to Oriental Daily News, the Cantopop Heavenly King, who recently released his new single “Love with the Rest of My Life”, will be performing the song at the annual event held in Taipei, as a salute to filmmakers.

Jacky will also be accompanied by a 22-member orchestra consisting of the best musicians from Hong Kong and Taiwan.
Speaking to the media about the upcoming performance, Jacky expressed, “I have a full respect for the Golden Horse Awards, and am honoured to be given the chance to perform at the event.”
He is also keen on meeting with fellow colleagues and friends at the event, saying, “Usually I only get to see fellow artistes when I film a movie. But in an event such as this, I get to meet a lot of people from the film industry. It’s great.”
The singer, who only filmed two movies “Helios” and “Temporary Family” this year, stated, “I am still making movies. But I have been making fewer films due to my busy schedule.”
The Golden Horse Awards will be held at the Memorial Hall in Taipei on 22 November 2014.
