It has been an emotional performance for actor-turned-singer Fred Cheng, who recently held his first ever concert, “Welcome to My Dreams”, at the Star Hall in KITEC.

According to Mingpao News, the singer, who made it in music business last year after winning “The Voice of Stars”, was teary-eyed as he sang to the audience that include celebrity friends such as Grace Wong, Sisley Choi, and rumoured girlfriend Lesley Chiang, who also came with her father Paul Chun and brother, Benji Chiang.

Fred also thanked his family for their support, and could not hold back his tears as he sang an Andy Lau’s song, dedicated to his grandparents, whom he revealed have been his guardians when he was a child.
Aside from his solo numbers, Fred also performed a duet, “Say Something” with fellow “Voice of Stars” alumnus Grace Wong.
At the end of the concert, TVB Executives Virginia Lok and Herman Ho led a group of fans for an early celebration of Fred Cheng’s birthday on 10 November, and wished for him to perform at the Hong Kong Coliseum one day.
