The weather must be getting too hot in Malaysia – people are just stripping clothes off their bodies left and right!
Okay, maybe not that drastic. But first there was the “nude party on the beach” issue, now there’s the “topless sunbathers on the beach”.
The Rakyat Post reports that the police was alerted of the presence of topless sunbathers in Port Dickson at 8.30pm last night and are now in the midst of identifying said perpetrators.
The incident took place yesterday at 2pm, involving four foreign women presumably in their 20s and 30s. A visitor at the beach noticed the quartet sunbathing on a mat at the beach sans any covering on the upper part of their bodies, and took a video of the incident.
Criminal Investigation chief Khoo Leng Huat stated that the case is now being investigated under section 294 (a) of the Penal Code and section 509 of the Penal Code.
Meanwhile Port Dickson Municipal Council (MPPD) chairman Dato’ Ab Khalid Mat stressed that bathing topless in public places is an offense and urged the public to alert the authorities of any such incident.
