Known for her five-octave vocal range, international pop diva and songstress, Mariah Carey gave Malaysian fans an unforgettable rainy night during her concert, “The Elusive Chanteuse Show” yesterday, 8pm at Stadium Merdeka, Kuala Lumpur.
Despite the thunders and rain, around 12,000 devoted fans with raincoats showed up at her concert. Mariah delivered some of the fans’ favourites and top hits, “My All”, “Fantasy”, “Hero”, “We Belong Together”, “Butterfly” and the latest from her current album, “Beautiful”, The Star reported.
Organised by IME Productions and supported by Malaysia Major Events, this is Mariah’s second visit to Malaysia since 2004.
After her concert, the singer posted on her Twitter her gratitude towards her fans in Malaysia, “Thank you Malaysia for sitting through the thunder, lightning and fire with me! You were amazing #KualaLumpur #TheElusiveChanteuseShow”.
Moreover, during Mariah’s visit in Malaysia, she even managed to meet up with some of the fans during her shopping spree at Starhill Gallery, Bukit Bintang on Tuesday evening, 21 October 2014.

She posted on her Twitter and Instagram, “Ran into some #lambily members while shopping in Malaysia! See you at the show tomorrow!! #Moments” along with photos of her with her Malaysian Lambs (What Mariah called her fans).
After her performance in Kuala Lumpur, Mariah will continue her tour in Singapore, Philippine, Australia and New Zealand.
