Singapore-based actor Christopher Lee has recently been honoured as the Best Lead Actor in a Television Series at the recently held 49th Golden Bell Awards.

As reported on Focus Taiwan, the Malaysian-born actor won the award for his “sincere and moving” performance in “A Good Wife”, where he plays a devoted husband who tried to give the best life to his wife despite her infidelity.

In his acceptance speech, Christopher enthused, “This is my first award outside of Singapore, and it’s very meaningful to me.”
“I am very touched,” the 43-year-old added, and thanked the director, the cast and crews, as well as his wife, Fann Wong.
