1. MyBurgerLab [Halal]

If this isn’t already on your checklist, crossed out multiple times with a star for approval, then you’ve got to make it your top priority. Think; fat juicy patties enveloped by sharp cheddar, a generous helping of sauce and maybe an accompanying thick Portobello or a serving of fried avocado sandwiched between soft charcoal buns.  The menu offers a wide variety of choices serving beef, chicken, lamb and pretty good vegetarian options too. But be warned that burgers this good usually comes with a long line of (hungry) waiting patrons.

2. Fatboy’s Burger [Non-Halal]

If picking a burger off a menu lengthens your order to include ‘remove the egg, add cheddar and more bacon, please?’ then the Fatboy’s Burger joint is for you. Diners can customize their order starting from picking the bun, meat, toppings and right down to the sauces. Get creative with the wide variety of meats that include chicken, beef, pork and lamb followed by toppings that range from the regular bacon, onions or cheese (Cheddar, Swiss or Monterey Jack) to bizarre additions like grilled bananas, pineapple or maybe some spicy jalapenos.

3. The Daily Grind [Halal]

When trying to up the playing field without hitting the lines of luxury, here’s where you go for lip-smacking delicious burgers. The Daily Grind serves up classy burgers that feature tender and juicy meat beautifully layered with some of your favourite toppings. From avocado paste and relish to crispy onion rings and cheese-they’ve got it all. 4. Burger Bakar Kaw Kaw [Halal]

In all the glory of burgers comes street burgers where it all started (think: Ramlee burger). Now taking the market by storm is Burger Bakar Kaw Kaw, a famous and fabulous burger joint that whips up mean bites that are sloppy, messy, greasy but oh-so-delicious. Whether it’s the single patty beef, the double cheesy baconizer or the huge ones holding four patties in a bite; they’re all worth the wait because the queues for these bad boys are amazing! But remember, go armed with a rumbling tummy because these burgers are huge!

One of the first few burger joints to pop up is Burgetory. Focusing on pork burgers and salads (yes, salads!), give the Burgetory Treasure a try as it comes with a well-seasoned and juicy pork patty, mild cheddar cheese and crispy pork lard. The perfect combination of flavors and textures give your taste buds a good tease. Don’t forget to dish up on onion rings and mozzarella sticks as well.
