Datuk Nicol David becomes the most successful squash player in Asian Games history when she nabs her fifth gold medal in her recent win.

In the first ever all-Malaysian Asian Games women’s squash individual final, Nicol faced off with own teammate Low Wee Wern. The squash star beat the latter with 9-11, 11-6, 11-5, 12-10 in 59 minutes, New Straits Time Online reports.

Currently ranked as world number one in women’s squash, the first Asian woman to achieve so, this is Nicol’s fourth individual gold since 1998 in five Asian Games campaign. She also has a team gold won in 2010.
World number seven Low, who won an individual bronze medal in 2010 Asian Games, says of her idol, “It’s probably the best I’ve played against her.”
