Action star Jackie Chan, who has lately been plagued with controversy over the arrest of his son Jaycee Chan for drug abuse, has recently returned to work.
According to Mingpao News, the actor was seen on filming location in Hebei on 2 September, reportedly getting ready for his new movie “Skiptrace”, co-starring Fan Bingbing that will begin filming on 6 September.
Though the actor did not speak to the media, his good friend Eric Tsang recently revealed that the actor is doing fine, despite the fact that he has yet to get to meet his son and can only relay messages through their legal representative.
Eric stated, “I didn’t dare to call him, so I only sent him text messages, but he replied and told me not to worry about a tough man like him.”
The actor added that while Jackie is facing the issue bravely, Jaycee’s mother Joan Lin has not been doing fine.
Eric disclosed, “Jackie told me that Joan is very heartbroken. Though they have been meeting often, they both didn’t know what to say to each other.”
