STOMP reported that queues at Tampines Mall had started from yesterday afternoon on 18 September 2014 around 1.40pm.
Two fights even broke out at Tampines Mall and 112 Katong this morning around 8am, due to some inconsiderate people cutting the queues of those who waited all night at the malls.
The queue cutters were reported to have come in a big group and immediately rushed in as soon as the stores were open, even though they just arrived at the scene.
Police officers were called to both locations in order to resolve the conflicts in the two malls.
