Xena’s Lucy Lawless back in action for “Agents of S.H.E.I.L.D”
Xena the Warrior Princess, Lucy Lawless is officially joining Marvel’s comic book-inspired television series, “Agents of S.H.E.I.L.D” for its second season.
Variety reported that a representative of the show confirmed that Lawless will guest star in an upcoming episode.
Although it is unsure what role she will be playing in the series, fans of Xena are already excited for the news of The Warrior Princess joining the second season of “Agents of S.H.E.I.L.D”, who will probably be playing the role of a secret agent or spy.

Lawless is well known for her many roles in television series, especially her title character Xena in the internationally successful television series “Xena: Warrior Princess” and its spin-off, “Hercules: The Legendary Journeys”.

Not only that, Lawless is also known for her role in the “Battlestar Galactica” series as Number Three and the role of Lucretia in the television series “Spartacus: Blood and Sand”, its prequel “Spartacus: Gods of the Arena”, and its sequel “Spartacus: Vengeance.”
Season two of “Agents of S.H.E.I.L.D” will continue with Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) running the agency in Nick Fury’s (Samuel L. Jackson) stead.
Lawson will join Patton Oswalt who will be playing Eric Koenig, a member of the World War II Howling Commandos in Marvel’s comic books alongside Ming-Na Wen, Melinda May, Elizabeth Henstridge and Iain De Caestecker.
