Stargazers and moviegoers can now share the same night sky at the Starlight Cinema which will be held from 13 to 21 June 2014 at the Bukit Kiara Equestrian Club Paintball Field.
Starlight Cinema will open its first night, Friday,13 June with a double horror-themed blockbuster special of “Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones” and “The Conjuring”.
Other blockbuster specials are also arranged, including a back-to-back screening of Christopher Nolan’s “Dark Knight” trilogy on 21 June which includes, “Batman Begins” (2005), “The Dark Knight” (2008) and “The Dark Knight Rises” (2012).
Other movies also slated for the event are, “Despicable Me 2”, “The Internship”, “The Sound Of Music”, “Fast And The Furious 6”, “Titanic”, “World War Z”, “Pacific Rim” and “Man Of Steel”.
Tickets are priced at RM10 for weekdays and RM18 for weekends, which can be bought online or at the entrance when it opens at 6pm on each night.
Aside from watching movies on a 10-meter tall screen, moviegoers can also shop around at the flea market and there will be food and beverage stalls around to bring some of your favourite food items to the outdoors.
First started in 2003, Starlight Cinema was last held in 2012 by Telekom Malaysia Berhad for its HyppTV customers.
This year’s edition of Starlight Cinema is brought to moviegoers by Samsung Galaxy Life.
