British writer, model and television personality Peaches Geldof, who was also the daughter of Irish musician and Live Aid organiser Bob Geldof, has passed away at the age of 25 according to her father in a statement on Monday.
“We are beyond pain,” said her father, confirming her death. “She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us.”
A statement by Kent Police said, “Police were called at 13:35 BST on 7 April, 2014 to an address near Wrotham following a report of concern for the welfare of a woman. A woman aged 25 was pronounced dead by South East Coast Ambulance Service. Officers are working to establish the circumstances around the death.”
Geldof was a well known British teen writer and personality, and hosted a show on Britain’s ITV titled “OMG! Totally Peaches” since 2011. She was also an avid social media poster, and her last Instagram post was of her and her mother Paula Yates, who had also died early when she was 11 years old.
She leaves behind her husband Tom Cohen, her two children Astala and Phaedra, her father Bob Geldof, and her sisters Fifi, Pixie and Tiger Lily.
“My beloved wife Peaches was adored by myself and her two sons Astala and Phaedra and I shall bring them up with their mother in their hearts every day,” husband Tom Cohen said in a statement. “We shall love her forever.”
