The graceful international singer, Shila Amzah will hold her first large scale concert in April.
“I have to tell everyone that I’m planning to have a concert this year, and therefore today I want to say that I’m going to have my first concert in April,” said Shila during a press conference at the office of Warner Music Malaysia, yesterday.
Shila, or her real name Nur Shahila Amir Amzah, however, said that the concert date and location is unknown because it will be announced by the promoters.
“For date and location of the concert, I do not know yet because the promoters will hold a press conference regarding this concert and will inform everyone about the date and venue of the concert.”
In the meantime, the 23-year-old singer said that she has plans to feature some artists from China to perform at the concert later.
“Actually I also planned to bring several artists from China to perform at the concert, but it is still has not been determined on who I will bring in for the show. In my concerts I will also be making a lot of special surprises for my fans.”
In another development, Shila will represent the country yet again at the Marche International du Disque et de I’Edition musicale (MIDEM) in Cannes, France this February with three other singers like Azlan And The Typewriter, Goldkartz and Thomas Jack.

Meanwhile, the “Patah Seribu” singer is once again nominated at the World Music Awards this year, where Shila was nominated for five categories, namely Best Female Artist, Best Entertainer of the Year, World’s Best Live Act, World’s Best Song and also the World’s Best Video.
In fact , in all five categories, Shila has great potential to compete with other international artists including Kelly Clarkson, Shakira, Adele, Alex Hepburn, Alicia Keys, Avril Lavigne, Britney Spears, Beyonce, Bruno Mars, Kanye West and many more.
