YouTuber Superwoman includes Malaysia and Singapore in book tour
YouTube superstar Lilly Singh or better known by her YouTube username, IISuperwomanII, is ready to meet her fans in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore as part of her “How to be a Bawse” book tour.
The tour brings the humour, motivation and real talk to life from Lilly's debut book, “How to be a Bawse: A Guide to Surviving Conquering Life” which will be out in the market on 28 March 2017.
Since starting her channel in October 2010, Lilly’s videos have received over 1 billion views, and her channel has amassed more than 11 million subscribers.
As a role-model to women and girls around the globe, Singh also created her #GirlLove initiative to break the cycle of girl-on-girl hate and encourage positivity amongst each other.
“I am so thrilled to write my first book and share, all in one place, what I've learned about achieving success and happiness,” said Lilly in a statement.
“This journey has taught me to always pick yourself up, not allow anything to stand in your way and that the only secret to achieving your dreams is hard work,” she continued.
In 2016, Lilly was ranked 3rd on the Forbes list of the world's highest paid YouTube stars behind Roman Atwood and PewDiePie.
She has received various awards including an MTV Fandom Award, three Streamy Awards, two Teen Choice Awards and a People's Choice Award to date in her career.
With the release of her new book, Lilly will be touring to 34 different cities starting from 27 March.
So far, Malaysia and Singapore are the only Southeast Asian countries included in the global tour.
Lilly Singh will be stopping by Malaysia on 23 May 2017 at the Plenary Hall, Kuala Lumpur, while her Singaporean leg will be on 24 May at the Kallang Theater.
Tickets for the Malaysian and Singaporean tour can be purchased at prworldwidelive.com and sistic.com.sg, respectively.
