Malaysian alternative rock band, Estranged, has been given the honour to perform at the Apple Music Christmas Festival in the U.K. at the end of this year.
According to Star2, the three-member band was personally selected by Apple Music to perform at the festival, joining other international legendary rock bands like Korn, Metallica, Radiohead and The Killers at The Roundhouse in London on Christmas Day.
“To know that we will be performing in a huge music festival is such an accomplishment for us as a band,” said vocalist Rich Gimbang, an alumnus of the fourth season of “Akademi Fantasia”.
“We are humbled by the opportunity to perform at the Apple Music Christmas Festival, and to be sharing a stage with other international acts on a global level. We are going to enjoy every bit of this experience. We can’t wait to put on a good show and make Malaysia proud,” he added as quoted by Star2.
Estranged will also be the opening act for Korn at a New Year’s Eve concert at the Leeds Indoor Arena.
