DJ Snake to paint Kuala Lumpur white this December
Grammy-nominated producer and artiste DJ Snake who is known for his viral single “Turn Down for What” with Lil Jon, is making his way to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia this coming December!
In 2011, the 30-year-old DJ produced for Lady Gaga’s album “Born This Way”, earning him a Grammy nomination for Album of the Year.
He debuted into the mainstream EDM scene via his single “Turn Down for What” in 2013, which entered the top five of the Billboard Dance/Electronic chart and debuted No. 38 on the Billboard Hot 100.
The song was also nominated for MTV Video Music Awards for Best Direction, Best Art Direction, Best Visual Effects, and the MTV Clubland Award.
DJ Snake was also known for the track “Lean On” which he collaborated with electronic music group Major Lazer, as the song was a critical and commercial success, peaking at number four on the US Billboard Hot 100 and at number two on the UK Singles Chart.
His latest single, “Let Me Love You” features the vocals of Canadian pop star Justin Bieber.
Organised by The Livescape Group and in collaboration with PLAY and KC & Friends, the event will be held at KL LIVE on 11 December 2016, and it will be part of TWP (The White Party).
TWP is Kuala Lumpur’s premier white party and has previously featured EDM superstars like Steve Aoki and Afrojack.
Guests are required to come dressed in at least one item of clothing in white as part of the event’s dress code.
