Asia's largest cosplay festival on a cruise returns

Cosfest Sea, a cosplay festival on sea is set to return next year with a greater promise and a wide variety of cosplayers from around the world.

Titled ‘Cosfest Sea 2017: Beyond the Great Horizons’, is set to run for 4 days and 3 nights with non- stop cosplaying fun.

Cosfest Sea sets sail from Singapore on the 17 February 2017 to Penang and then comes back to Singapore on the 20 February 2017.

For those of you who don’t know, Cosplay is a performance art in which participants called cosplayers wear costumes and fashion accessories to represent a specific character from either a movie or a comic.

The event was started off last year by Singapore’s cosplay club in a bid to introduce a new type of cosplaying convention for Asian cosplay lovers.

Some of the highlights of the event would be; Cosplay Parade, Professional Performances, and Cosplay/Anime Party.

Fans that are joining the event would also be entertained by professional cosplayers from around the world who will be taking part in the Asia Cosplay Meet Championship which is also a part of Cosfest Sea 2017!

The professionals are selected from eight countries such as China, Japan, Korea, and USA, which will mark their very first appearance here.

So, if you are an avid fan of pop culture or always wanted to be part of the fun-filled conventions, then join this Cosplay Bonanza.

Tickets range from RM1, 533 to RM 1,756 depending on the accommodation arrangement and event packages.

Fans that purchase tickets through the Singapore Cosplay Club's website are entitled to a specially designed Cosfest Sea souvenir.
