Events Not To Be Missed: November 2016


Here comes the month of November along with all the exciting events that awaits us!

Be sure to mark down the events on your calendars, ‘cos you wouldn’t want to miss them!

1. It’s the Ship (4 – 7 November 2016) 

Get ready to set sail on Asia’s largest EDM cruise festival It’s The Ship 2016, returning for its third instalment, featuring hunky “Baywatch” actor David Hasselhoff AKA The Hoff as your Captain, and an epic line-up of over 60 music acts!

2. Royal Pirates fan meet (6 November 2016) 

The handsome Korean-American trio is set to steal your hearts away once again! After their first showcase in Malaysia, the band can’t wait to meet the loyal Malaysian Royal Treasures to promote their latest EP.

3. Let’s Dance: Paul Roberts Sings David Bowie (6 & 7 November 2016) 

The former lead singer of English rock band The Stranglers is set to pay homage to one of the greatest British rock star in the world, David Bowie in a tribute performance.

4. Northern Music Festival (12 & 13 November 2016)

Penang’s Northern Music Festival (NMF) is set to make a comeback after three-long years presenting a giant line-up of amazing local musicians like Bunkface, OAG, Seven Collar T-Shirt, Tres Empre, An Honest Mistake, Talitha Tanl, Bittersweet and more!

5. Ferry Corsten presents Gouryella (18 November 2016) 

After five-long years, Trance expert Ferry Corsten is finally returning to Zouk Kuala Lumpur as part of his ongoing global tour for his uplifting trance project Gouryella.

6. Rockaway – The Saga Continues (19 November 2016) 

After its successful Rockaway Malaysia MotoGP Weekend, The Saga Continues is set to feature 20 more outstanding international, regional and local music acts including Third Eye Blind, Taking Back Sunday, The Get Up Kids, Butterfingers, Alleycats, One Buck Short, The Changchuters, Dirgahayu, Pitahati, Hujan x OAG and more.

7. Live Spectacle Naruto (20 November 2016) 

The globally famous Naruto musical is coming back to Malaysia, featuring brand new story and a couple of new characters!

8. Konsert High Note 2016 (25 – 27 November 2016) 

Three Malaysian vocal powerhouses; Ziana Zain, Jaclyn Victor and Azlan Typewriter will soon share a stage together for the concert of a lifetime.

9. Neon Lights (26 & 27 November 2016) 

After last year’s successful debut, Neon Lights is back for its second year with more new acts such as Yuna, Sigur Rós, Foals and more than 20 other amazing music acts to brighten up the festival!

10. Toploader LIVE in KL (27 November 2016) 

Known for their cover of King Harvest's feel good hit “Dancing in the Moonlight”, British alternative rock band Toploader is set to debut their inaugural show, backed by eight-piece funk/soul band from Kuala Lumpur, Ryöt Jones.

11. toe LIVE in Malaysia  (29 November 2016) 

Japanese instrumental rock band toe returns to Malaysia after four years as part of their 2016 “Hear You” Asia tour in support of their third full-length album of the same name.

Venue: Bentley Music Auditorium, Malaysia
