To further hype the much-anticipated Rajinikanth film, “Kabali”, the company responsible for distributing the Tamil action film in Malaysia and providing it with a Bahasa Malaysia-dubbed version, are now also organising a “Kabali” movie-themed run for all of the fans in the region.

“Kabali” is the first Tamil movie to be dubbed into the Malay language and it is also the first ever Tamil film to inspire a run.

‘Kabali Run’ is the first ever run named after a Tamil language movie in Malaysia.

Organised by Malik Streams Corporations Sdn Bhd, the 5km ‘Kabali Run’ is categorized under Malaysian male and female, but it will also be open for international runners.

The top five winners will get cash prizes ranging from RM50 to RM350 and trophies, while those placed between 6th to 10th place will get trophies.

Also, part of the profits earned from the registration fee, which is set at RM65 for all categories, will be donated to several charity homes.

‘Kabali Run’ will take place on Sunday, 31 July 2016 in the Klang Valley, but the exact venue will be announced at a later date.
