The Bee to honour David Bowie with performances from local bands

Even though it’s been almost two months since the passing of the legendary music figure David Bowie, the world still mourns his death.

The iconic musician was honoured at this year’s Grammys, Brit awards and even at today’s Oscars!

Of course, here in Malaysia, we’re going to do exactly the same, as The Bee, Publika will be hosting a special tribute to the late singer with performances from Kyoto Protocol, Diamond Dogs (Mystery Tapes), Foxlore and Joi Noir.

Entrance to the event is FREE, and it will take place on 19 March 2016 at The Bee.

David Bowie passed away on 10 January 2016, two days after his 69th birthday and the release of his latest album “Blackstar”.

He battled with liver cancer for 18 month before passing away at his New York apartment.
