Rihanna surpasses Michael Jackson with most No.1 hits

After debuting her latest single, “Work”, the song has become Rihanna’s 14th No.1 song that has hit the Billboard Hot 100 Singles chart, allowing the Barbadian singer to surpass the “King of Pop” Michael Jackson’s record for third most No.1 hits of all time!
The 28-year-old R&B singer is currently behind The Beatles who has 20 top-charting hits, while Mariah Carey and Elvis Presley tie in second place with 18 top hits.

But seeing that Rihanna is still young, chances are that, she might be able to surpass Mariah, Elvis and The Beatles really soon!

Some of her other No.1 hit songs include, “Diamonds”, “We Found Love”, “S&M”, “Only Girl (In the World)”, “Umbrella”, “Rude Boy”, Take A Bow” and “SOS”.

“Work” is the lead single of Rihanna’s eighth studio album, “Anti” featuring “Hotline Bling” singer Drake.

The song is also a huge success in other countries’ top ten charts like Australia, Canada, France, Hungary, Spain, and the United Kingdom.

This is the second time that Rihanna has collaborated with her ex, Drake. The first time was for her 2010 Grammy-nominated hit, “What’s My Name”.
