Murni Discovery restaurant opens ninth outlet at Kelana Jaya

Murni Discovery, one of the most famous, one-of-a-kind “mamak” that serves a variety of unique fusion, custom-made cuisines of Indian, Malay, Chinese, Western, Italian origin and more – has opened its latest outlet in Kelana Jaya.

Murni is more than just your typical “mamak”, as it goes even beyond that with its weirdly hilarious menu that ranges from a common Roti Canai to Roti Jepun, Roti Hawaii, and even Roti Beckham!

Don’t get us started on the drinks! From common drinks like Iced Milo and Teh Tarik, there’s also oddly named mocktails like I Love You, I Miss You, Don’t Worry, Be Happy, Poison – and what the heck, they even have a mysterious drink called Taylor Swift! (Swifties would love this though)

Nevertheless, the food prices at Murni are relatively affordable and a lot of them come in generously large portions which is suited with the price.

The new branch opened last Friday at Jalan SS6/2 (opposite Brother’s) and is the ninth outlet of Murni Discovery.

The outlet has a very hipster feel to it with colourful chalkboard menus and wooden tables. There is also a second story that’s air conditioned.

Other outlets can be found at SS2, Aman Suria, USJ, Sunway Mentari, Kepong, Bukit Jalil, Bandar Sri Permaisuri, and Shah Alam.

  3. The low to zero carb bagels and noodles called tofu shirataki have been around for ages, but have become more popular over the past few years. They have hardly any taste, but when added to dishes, absorb loads of flavor. The noodles are a blend of Konnyaku yam and calcium rich tofu.
