This is sure to make your weekend feel longer than it is.
The first movie to premiere on February 6 is "Unbroken" directed by Angelina Jolie. The story follows the incredible life of Olympian turned war hero, Louis Zamperini, who survived in raft for more than a month along with two others after a plane crash in WWII. They get caught by the Japanese navy and are sent to a prisoner camp where they are brutally tortured.
The Oscar nominated film stars Jack O'connell, Miyavi and Domhnall Gleeson.
The eve of the Lunar New Year welcomes "Paddington" to your home screens. Paddington grew up in the Peruvian Jungle with his Aunt Lucy who raised him to dream about life in London after she meets an English explorer. After an earthquake leaves them homeless, she smuggles Paddington on a boat en route to England for him to have a better life. Upon arrival, he finds out that city life is not how he imagined to be, until he meets the kindly Brown family, who find him with a label tied around his neck which reads 'Please look after this bear. Thank you.' They offer him a temporary home whilst he searches for the explorer who impressed Aunt Lucy all those years before. But when Paddington catches the eye of a sinister, seductive taxidermist, it isn't long before his home - and very existence - is under threat.
Catch Paddington on February 7 starring Ben Whishaw, Sally Hawkins and Julie Walters.
The movie to appear on the first night of the year is "Furious 7" directed by James Wan. Dominic Toretto and his crew return to the States after defeating Owen Shaw but little did they know, Owen's older brother is out to avenge his death. Deckard Shaw puts Toretto and his crew is a very tight spot as the crew sets to find out the person who murdered Han, before he gets to the crew.
The blockbuster stars Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham and the late Paul Walker.
"Dumb and Dumber To" will be screened on February 9 and the sequel to the smash hit comedy "Dumb and Dumber" will see Lloyd and Harry go on a road trip to search for Harry's child which he never knew he had. They crisscross the country using whatever mode of transportation they can find, ultimately arriving at the one place on Earth where they least belong, a summit of the world's most brilliant minds.
Jim Carrey, Jeff Daniels and Rob Riggle star in this comedy.
The last movie to show is "Project Almanac" on February 10. Five teens stumble upon blueprint for a time machine, where they build it to see if it is possible. The possibilities are endless as they go back and forth to change the past and the future, only to realize that they have threatened the stability of this world.
The science fiction thriller stars Jonny Weston, Amy Landecker and Sofia Black-D'elia.
