MyTeksi is now rebranded as Grab
The Southeast Asia transportation app, MyTeksi has undergone a major rebranding exercise and will be now known simply as Grab.
Grab includes all their company's services such as GrabTaxi, GrabCar, GrabBike, GrabHitch and GrabExpress under one umbrella brand.
Established in 2012, Grab has transformed from a simple taxi-booking app to Southeast Asia's largest land transport company having over 200,000 drivers and 11 million mobile app downloads.
"We've grown over the years – and we're now much more than a taxi app. This new brand is an important evolution that represents our goal to outserve our customers. We are not only providing passengers with a transport service, we are saving them time and ensuring they have a safe ride,” said Anthony Tan, Group CEO and Co-Founder of Grab.
The new and improved Grab represents their growing platform of on-demand services to provide customers the freedom to get to their destination safely and conveniently as well as providing stable job opportunities.
The updated logo was designed with dual lines representing the endless road of possibilities with the brands new identity relating closely to its passengers, drivers, employees and even the society.
“We are focused on designing the best possible product for our users. We take a hyperlocal approach to understand what users in Southeast Asia prefer, from language preferences to payment options,” said Tan Hooi Ling, Co-Founder, Grab. “The updated Grab app is about improving the core experience – we want to make it as simple as two clicks to book a ride.”
The Grab app is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play for free with existing users to have their app updated.
