“Game of Thrones” releases new teasers for season 6
Three new teasers for the upcoming sixth season of “Game of Thrones” have been released, and this has gotten many fans pumping with excitement!
Each of the teaser features short clips of the three main Westeros lineage – the Starks, Lannisters and Targaryens, hinting that something terrible is about to happen to all three families.
Each one of the new teaser features a threatening message from a villain with a tattered and torn flag from each house.
The first teaser features the voiceover of Ramsay Bolton declaring his ownership of Winterfell, the home of the Stark family.
For the House of Lannister in the second clip, High Sparrow calls upon his followers to “overthrow an empire”, with the voice of the Shame Nun ringing in the background.
The last clip concerned the House of Targaryen where an unknown Dothraki voice claims that Daenerys is the “queen of nothing” and “a nobody”.
It has also been hinted that Jon Snow may still be alive.
Unlike the previous seasons, the sixth season will consist of original content which are not from George R. R. Martin's “A Song of Ice and Fire” series, but will also adapt material from the upcoming sixth novel in the series, “The Winds of Winter”, which is still being written.
However, the new season will also feature some content from the fourth and fifth novels, “A Feast for Crows” and “A Dance with Dragons”.
The sixth season of “Games of Thrones” is scheduled to premiere on 24 April 2016 on HBO Asia.
