The previous record-holder was Psy’s iconic “Gangnam Style” who accomplished the same feat in 160 days, while Wiz Khalifa’s “See You Again” did it in 184 days.
When “Hello” was first released, it already shattered the record of most viewed video in 24-hours with a total of 27.7 million views, beating Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” which only accumulated 20.1 million views in that same timeframe.
The video later continued to break Miley Cyrus's “Wrecking Ball” record for the fastest video to reach 100 million views in five days.
There are plenty more achievements and records that has been conquered by Adele’s “Hello”, and now we are wondering if the video can also become the fastest to achieve 2 billion views. The current and only record holder right now is Psy’s “Gangnam Style”.
