“That’s So Raven” might get a reboot?
The renowned supernatural teen sitcom “That’s So Raven” might get a reboot soon, according to the main star as well as the titular character, Raven Symone.
Back in August, the cast of the sitcom including Raven Symone herself, Anneliese van der Pol, Orlando Brown and Kyle Massey had major reunion at “The View” where Symone is currently the co-host of the daytime talk show.
The group of cast discussed about the memories and experience they had working with “That’s So Raven”, and Symone mentioned that a possible reboot for the show is in the works.
“We've been trying to do a reunion,” said the 29-year-old actress as quoted by PEOPLE. “But it's up to Disney Channel if they want to or not.”
The series ran for four seasons and ended in 2007. Since then, there has been various speculation and rumours saying that the series would get a second spin-off or revamp.
“I stay in contact with all the people from the show,” she added. “I don't think it's going away, I think it's a part of my generation, it's kind of like “Boy Meets World” for me, or “Saved by the Bell” for others. It's that type of show that hopefully stays in our hearts forever.”
“That’s So Raven” revolved around psychic teenager Raven Baxter who can see short visions of the future. The series follow Raven’s hilarious journey along with her best friends Chelsey Daniels, Eddie Thomas, her brother Cory Baxter, as well as her parents, Tanya and Victor Baxter.
The series garnered higher ratings than any other Disney Channel show, and is the first show in Disney channel history to have more than 100 episodes.
