Inaugural Billboard Hot 100 Music Festival kicks off in August
There’s a brand new music festival and this one could possibly turn into something huge as it is under the well-known music magazine, Billboard.
Introducing the inaugural Billboard Hot 100 Music Festival which is set to hit New York's Nikon at Jones Beach Theater next month, 22 to 23 August 2015!
The full line-up for the two-day festival is already revealed, featuring some big-named mainstream artistes as well as some renowned indie musicians who are ready to rock the summer concert!
The Weeknd, Skrillex, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, Kygo, Jason Derulo, American Authors, Betty Who, The Chainsmokers, Fetty Wap, Halsey, Holy Ghost!, Kiesza, Little Mix, Santigold, and ZZ Ward are among the 40-plus artistes playing the inaugural Hot 100 Fest, Billboard reports.
Also, there will be a very special performance by Justin Bieber at the festival.
Produced by Billboard in partnership with Live Nation, the festival will have two additional stages aside from the main stage, and one of the stages is – you guessed it, at the beach!
“It’s an honour to be able to extend the Billboard brand into the festival space, and we feel that Jones Beach is the perfect location to create something truly unique and unforgettable,” said Billboard Co-President John Amato.
“The Hot 100 Music Festival will be one of those truly memorable summer concert events. We are very excited to bring fans some of summer 2015’s chart toppers in a venue that will showcase the best these artists have to offer,” Live Nation President and CEO Michael Rapino added.
