Gaming fans pay tribute to Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata
Japanese game programmer and businessman Satoru Iwata, who served as the fourth president and chief executive officer (CEO) of the world's largest video game company Nintendo, has passed away at the age of 55 on Monday, 11 July 2015 due to bile duct cancer.
Following his death, flags at Nintendo's headquarters were lowered to half-mast, and members and fans across the gaming industry mourned for his departure and expressed their sadness and gratitude for his wonderful accomplishments with Nintendo.
