Alan Tam celebrates 40th anniversary in Malaysia
Cantopop legend Alan Tam will be performing in Malaysia to celebrate his 40 years of being in the entertainment industry with his “Alan Tam 40th Anniversary World Tour 2015”.
Tam, who is one of the major faces in the Cantopop scene in the 80s and 90s – is famous for his romantic ballads with modern arrangements. He has been given the nickname "Principal" or "Principal Tam" as he served as mentor for the Cantopop music industry.
Even until today, Tam is still active in the music scene as he releases new albums on a regular basis.
Just within this year, Tam has already recorded 13 sell-out shows at the Coliseum Hong Kong. Also, he is currently the record holder for having the most concerts in Hong Kong as a solo artist.
This year, Tam is collaborating with Philharmonic Orchestra to bring full auditory enjoyment to his fans as he walks them down memory lane with his timeless hits from his 80s and 90s albums.
So expect to hear some of his famous ballads like “Friends”, “Love Trap”, “Illusion”, “Foggy Love”, “Flower in Water” and “Don’t Say Goodbye” and more.
The concert will be held at Putra Indoor Stadium, Kuala Lumpur on 1 August 2015 with ticket prices starting from RM162 per person and can be purchased via ticketcharge.com.my or starplanet.com.my.
