Kumi Koda and LiSA to have first solo concerts in Singapore
Not one, but two Japanese singers will be performing in Singapore next month on the same date but at different venues!
R&B singer Kumi Koda and anime singer LiSA are both coming to Singapore on 18 July 2015 for their first solo concert in the country!
To celebrate her 15th anniversary as an artiste, Kumi Koda, 32, who is often touted as the Christina Aguilera of Japan will be promoting 12th album in her “Koda Kumi 15th Anniversary Live Tour 2015 ~WALK OF MY LIFE~ supported by Mercedes-Benz” all around Asia.
Koda has always been known for her sexy image, she is the one who starts the ‘ero kawaii’ (literally translated as ‘erotic cute’) trend in Japan and was partially responsible for making the wearing of lingerie in public more acceptable in the country.

She gained fame through her single “Real Emotion/1000 no Kotoba”, the theme song of “Final Fantasy X-2” video game, and is known for her other chart-topper songs like “Real Emotion”, “Butterfly”, “Yume no Uta/Futari de...” and "No Regret".
Koda is set to perform at *SCAPE The Ground Theatre, 7.30pm with tickets priced at SGD138.
Meanwhile, LiSA (real name, Risa Oribe) is marking her first solo concert in the country which titled “LiSA - LiVE is Smile Always ~ Singapore 2015 ~”!
The 27-year-old Japanese singer made her major singing debut through the hit anime series, “Angel Beats!” which feature some of her original songs.
Since then, many of her songs have been featured as theme music for various famous anime series such as “Fate/Zero”, “Sword Art Online”, “Nisekoi”, and “The Irregular at Magic High School”.

She previously performed in Singapore at Anime Festival Asia along with other renowned anime singers like May'n, Angela, Kalafina, Kanako Itō and Milky Holmes.
LiSA will be performing at Resorts World™ Theatre, Resorts World Sentosa, 5.30pm with ticket prices starting from SGD98.
