Apple Music makes worldwide debut on 30 June
Last week it was announced that Apple has been developing a music streaming service that is set to rival other popular streaming services like Spotify and Pandora.
Okay, almost over. The app won’t be available until the end of this month. In the meantime, let’s take a look at what exactly the music app has to offer.

First of all, what is Apple Music? According to Apple’s press release, it is a streaming service and app that:
“combines the largest and most diverse collection of music on the planet with the expertise of world-class music experts who have programmed playlists for your iPhone®, iPad®, iPod touch®, Mac®, PC, Apple TV® and Android phones.”
All you favourite music is now in one place with Apple Music, and you can easily access it across your favourite devices.
If you feel like chilling and letting somebody else choose the music for you, the app has a “For You” section with fresh mix of songs tailored just for you.
“Curation is the soul of every playlist created on Apple Music”, which is why Apple has the world’s most talented music experts from across the globe making you the perfect playlists, all based on your preferences.
Alternatively, you can always ask Siri® to help you pick a song, either by asking questions like “What was the number one song in February 2011?” or “Play the best FKA twigs song”.

Beats 1 is Apple’s first ever live radio station and will be on 24 hours, led by influential DJs Zane Lowe in Los Angeles, Ebro Darden in New York and Julie Adenuga in London. There will be music, interviews, guest hosts – the whole world will get to listen to the same programming at the same time.
The radio stations genre range from indie rock to classical and folk to funk. If you wish to skip songs that aren’t your cup of tea, you can do so with membership.
Apple Music Connect

The modern world is all about connecting with each other, no matter which part of the world you’re in. This feature allows artists and fans to connect with one another directly through Apple Music.
“Through Connect, artists can share lyrics, backstage photos, videos or even release their latest song directly to fans directly from their iPhone. Fans can comment on or like anything an artist has posted, and share it via Messages, Facebook, Twitter and email. And when you comment, the artist can respond directly to you.”
