Billboard Music Awards 2015 took place this morning at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada and saw to popstar Taylor Swift sweeping away all of the major awards at the ceremony.
Taylor Swift won a total of eight awards out of her fourteen nominations which include Top Artist, Top Female Artist, Top Billboard 200 Artist and Top Billboard 200 Album for “1989”.

Other top winners which also had huge accomplishments at the ceremony are; Sam Smith and Iggy Azalea who each won four trophies, while Meghan Trainor got to take home two awards.
Some of the unforgettable highlights was the wonderful performance by the diva, Mariah Carey who hasn’t performed on the Billboard stage since 1998. Even though some claimed that her voice was a bit off-key during her perfomance, but we can’t help but to love her because she is such a legend.
Besides winning awards, Swift also debuted her star-studded "Bad Blood" music video during the start of the ceremony.
Furthermore, One Direction who took home the Top Duo/Group award gave a special mention on ex-member Zayn Malik during the acceptance speech which definitely caught the fans by surprise.
Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth’s super emotionally touching performance for their top charting hit “See You Again’ was also performed live at the show.
Another highlight of the night which is perhaps the most unforgettable, was the powerful performance from two strong and confident women; Iggy Azalea and Britney Spears, who took up the stage to perform their song collaboration, “Pretty Girls”!
